UPCOMING ECSTATIC DANCE EVENT

please read the guidelines and Q&A below before booking your place BELOW!

Dance as Prayer. Movement as Medicine.

Welcome to Kalaho Ecstatic Dance, a sacred, heart-led space where your body becomes your compass, the rhythm becomes your language, and the Earth becomes your altar.

This is not just a dance class. It is a living, breathing ceremony of movement, liberation, and remembrance—an invitation to return to yourself through rhythm and presence.

Here, you're free to arrive exactly as you are. Whether you've danced for decades or never moved a beat outside your kitchen, Ecstatic Dance is for the curious, the conscious, and the wild-hearted.

We dance barefoot. e dance without judgment. We dance to come home—to our bodies, our breath, and the deeper wisdom that lives within us all.

Why We Dance
In many cultures, dance is not entertainment. It's healing. It's prayer. It's a way of communicating with the soul, with the Earth, and with each other.

At Kalaho Ecstatic Dance, we return to this ancient wisdom. We honour our bodies, release what no longer serves, and open to joy, expression, and presence.

Every dance is a journey—through stillness, fire, sweat, and bliss. You are invited to move however your body wishes, guided by a powerful soundscape created by DJ Kalaho (Farah), weaving beats from around the world with deep presence and intuitive flow.

🌿 Dance Floor Guidelines

The dance floor is a sacred space. These shared agreements help us co-create a field of safety, presence, and freedom:

Be free.
Dance however you feel. There is no right or wrong way to move. This is a judgement-free zone.

Be present.
No phones, no cameras. This is your time to unplug and tune in.

Be embodied.
No talking on the dance floor. Let your body speak in movement.

Be clear.
This is an alcohol- and substance-free space. Come as you are.

Be consensual.
If it’s not a clear yes, it’s a no. Honour others' boundaries. A prayer sign (hands together) means "thank you, but I wish to dance alone." Respect it.

Consent is essential.  If you haven’t already, please take time to learn about consent read here
